Welcome to the Process Not Perfection Book Course!
Process Not Perfection: Expressive Arts Solutions for Trauma Recovery is the first book of its kind on the market. Written for both the general public and clinical audiences, Process Not Perfection takes readers on a journey through using expressive arts process and practices for healing trauma. The book contains fifteen expressive arts processes (collections of 6-7 practices each) built along various themes necessary to trauma recovery (e.g., grounding, blocks to feeling, daily practice). In Process Not Perfection, the three major sections containing five processes each are called Preparing, Deepening, and Manifesting. They are organized to correspond with the three-phase consensus model of trauma treatment: stabilization, processing, and reintegration.
This supplementary book course, guided with videos by Dr. Jamie Marich and featuring supplemental resources for each section of the book curated by Dr. Jamie, is designed to enhance your experience in working through Process Not Perfection. As Dr. Jamie explains in the opening video, you can read or watch videos about expressive arts therapy, yet until you dive in there and do, studying the expressive arts is just an intellectual exercise. Other key features include:
- Never before seen or published coaching and content videos from Dr. Jamie Marich
- Curated resources to support your Process Not Perfection experience
- Opportunity to go at your own pace and share your work with others if you choose
We are also offering this book course on a sliding scale. You can pay as you see fit, using this system as a guide:
